MERRIMACK, N.H.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Connection® (PC Connection, Inc.; NASDAQ: CNXN),
an industry-leading technology solutions provider of a full range of
information technology (IT) solutions to business, government, and
education markets, announced today that Connection Public Sector
Solutions has been awarded the USNH Joint Computer Purchase Program
contract by the University System of New Hampshire (USNH).
Connection will now serve as the provider of computer hardware products
and services to all USNH institutions, including the University of New
Hampshire, Plymouth State University, Keene State College, and Granite
State College, for an initial contract period of three years, with two
additional one-year extensions.
The Joint Computer Purchase Program provides affordable desktops,
laptops, accessories, and services to 34,000 students, parents, faculty,
staff, alumni, and institutional departments. USNH also partners with
community colleges throughout New Hampshire, providing them with
opportunities to take advantage of pricing, terms, and incentives
available through the program.
The contract offers members access to the entire portfolio of Connection
products, warranty coverage, and Microsoft Office 365 enablement, as
well as local break/fix repair services to support the University System
of New Hampshire’s existing fleet of legacy computer systems.
Michael E. Durkin, Chief Procurement Officer of University System of NH,
stated “I am pleased to report that Connection’s response to the USNH
Joint Computer Purchase Program RFP will provide member institutions
with significant cost savings over the course of the contract. USNH
selected Connection Public Sector Solutions based on the strength of
their proposal, their past record of performance, and their suitability
to meet the current and future needs of our organization. I am confident
this partnership will deliver the level of satisfaction our students
deserve, and I look forward to working with the Connection team to
ensure our faculty and staff have the resources required to continue
delivering a world-class education.”
Robert Howard, President of Connection Public Sector SolutionsTM,
said “From the start of the Request for Proposal process, USNH made it
very clear that student experience and affordability were at the top of
their priority list. Our team worked diligently to meet those
requirements, collaborating closely with Lenovo to provide top-tier
systems, competitive pricing, and a wide range of value-added
services—from on-site repair and A+ certified maintainers to warranty
coverage and loaner programs. The end result ensures USNH members will
